Il bassista può non essere sempre al centro del palco, può non avere l’assolo più lungo e magari qualcuno tra il pubblico non saprebbe nemmeno indicare esattamente cosa stia suonando. Poi però il basso si ferma… e improvvisamente se ne accorgono tutti.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eLa frase \u003cstrong\u003e“No Bass, No Groove”\u003c\/strong\u003e sintetizza proprio questo rapporto tra basso e ritmo: il basso crea un ponte tra la parte armonica e quella ritmica, dialogando con la batteria e contribuendo in modo decisivo alla pulsazione e al carattere di un brano.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eAl centro della composizione compare la sagoma immediatamente riconoscibile della paletta di un basso elettrico a quattro corde. Il design utilizza un’estetica \u003cstrong\u003egrunge e vintage\u003c\/strong\u003e, con lettere consumate, texture irregolari e forme nette che ricordano le grafiche dei vecchi poster rock, delle sale prove e delle magliette delle band.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eL’illustrazione è volutamente semplice. Non servono amplificatori, palchi o folle: bastano quattro meccaniche e una frase che, per un bassista, dice praticamente tutto.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eLa grafica è pensata per \u003cstrong\u003ebassisti, studenti di basso, insegnanti di musica, componenti di band e appassionati di rock, funk, blues, jazz e musica live\u003c\/strong\u003e. Ma può essere apprezzata anche da batteristi e musicisti che conoscono bene l’importanza della sezione ritmica e sanno che il groove nasce soprattutto dall’intesa tra chi tiene insieme il tempo e l’armonia.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eÈ anche un’\u003cstrong\u003eidea regalo per bassisti\u003c\/strong\u003e particolarmente adatta a chi affronta con una certa ironia il destino del proprio strumento: magari nessuno nota immediatamente quello che fai, ma prova a smettere di farlo e vediamo cosa succede.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003ePerché chitarre, voce e tastiere possono attirare l’attenzione.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eMa quando arriva il momento di far muovere la testa — o tutto il resto — vale ancora una regola:\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNo bass.
